Contest 2022 – Scenicregional

Please note the following guidelines:

204 words or less (because the book was written 204 years ago)
Age categories – under 12, 13+
Stories must be submitted by email to contest@scenicregional.org and include author name, author age, phone number, and word count. Entries submitted without an age will be considered an 13+ submission
All entries must be received by 4/17/2022
Entries will be judged on originality, clarity, voice, and word choice.
Selected stories will be published on the Community Read website and partner newsletters. One story from each category will be read during the Community Read Finale Event at ECC Theater on 4/30/2022 at 7p

Scenic Regional Library, Washington Public Library, and East Central College take non-exclusive electronic rights to post the stories at www.thiscommunityreads.org and in Library-related presentations and publications. All other rights remain with the author.
